Fr David McMillan
I was born in 1950 in Brisbane. I attended Ascot State School, Hendra State High in Brisbane and then Harristown State High in Toowoomba. I acquired a business studies degree, majoring in accountancy and went to work for the Commonwealth Auditor General's office in Canberra from 1971 until 1981, followed by the Department of Defence from 1981 until 1987 and then I trained for the priesthood with Trinity College and for part of that time as a novice member of the Society of the Sacred Mission. I was made a deacon in 1993 and a priest in 1995 in the Wangaratta Diocese and have served in:
- Nagambie 1993 - 1994 (Deacon assistant)
- Shepparton 1994 - 1997 (Assistant deacon and priest)
- Nagambie 1997 (Locum)
- Pyramid Hill/Boort 1997 - 2002 (Rector)
- Maldon 2002 - 2008 (Rector and Chaplain to Loddon Prison)
- Bayswater 2008 - present (Vicar)
