Lent and Holy Week Services

Lent is the Christian season of spiritual preparation before Easter.  In Western churches, it begins on Ash Wednesday.  During Lent, many Christians observe a period of fasting, repentance, moderation, self-denial, and spiritual discipline.  The purpose of the Lenten season is to set aside time to reflect on Jesus.  To consider his suffering and his sacrifice, his life, death, burial and resurrection, and what that means for us.  You are very welcome to join us in reflection this Lent.

Holy Week and Easter Day mark the most important time in the Christian liturgical calendar.  In Holy Week we journey with Jesus from Palm Sunday and his triumphant entry into Jerusalem, to his trial, death and burial, culminating in his glorious and triumphant resurrection on Easter Day (Sunday)

We warmly invite you to join with us to experience and participate in the journey of faith as expressed in word, symbol and song through all the services of Holy Week and Easter.
